  1. Thanks for your interest. I always have this policy about not doing
  2. seminars or videos until the final release version ships. Some of the
  3. people attending seminars or watching tapes are new, and the 'missing
  4. button' thing becomes a real problem. I announced a tour here a few weeks
  5. ago, but LW keeps getting pushed back so I have no firm dates yet. (I
  6. determine these dates through a complex process of triangulating what
  7. NewTek officially says, what various people say privately, and how the
  8. beta version on my desk looks....plus I guess.)

  10. So, here's what I think -- SIGGRAPH is coming up in August, a scant two
  11. months away. If NewTek isn't shipping a documented, non-flakely, full
  12. featured, FINAL version by that show, they will look pretty bad and have a
  13. lot of ticked off people to answer to. So they will ship by SIGGRAPH. In
  14. fact, they will probably ship around mid-late July.

  16. That means look for my tapes to come out this fall, around September most
  17. likely. And look for a tour to start in August.

  19. In fact, is there any interest in training around the time of SIGGRAPH?
